Blacktop Joe is a locally owned asphalt paving and sealcoating company serving homeowners and property managers across the Washington DC metropolitan area. For more than twenty years we've engineered residential driveways and commercial parking lots built to withstand the capital region's punishing freeze-thaw cycles, heavy traffic, and seasonal extremes. Every job is completed by our own crews — no subcontractors, no shortcuts — and held to a standard the rest of the region rarely meets.

We offer two core disciplines: new and replacement hot-mix asphalt paving, and protective sealcoating that locks out water, UV, and oil to extend pavement life. We're also the regional leader in professional hot pour crack filling, routing and cleaning every crack before filling it with rubberized sealant heated to roughly 400°F — so it bonds and flexes for years rather than a single season. The result is maintenance that protects the asphalt investment you've already made.
